Stockholm Observatory - Supernova Group Meetings
-
As of January 2006 the SN Group meetings have merged with the high-energy
astrophysics group, and weekly meeting are on Mondays at 2 p.m.
Topics are SNe and GRBs, and organizer is Felix Ryde.
-
As of January 2005 the SN Group meetings are only advertised
through a local mailing list and not on this page.

Probing dark energy and dark matter using supernovae
Abstract: I will present constraints on the evolution of the equation
of state of the dark energy from a joint analysis of data from the
cosmic microwave background, large scale structure and Type Ia
supernovae. I will also discuss the possibility to measure the Hubble
parameter and the slope of galactic dark matter density profiles with
future supernova surveys such as SNAP.
